A gourmet story

The history of Cheese & Wine Week is now being written internationally. Since the creation of Cheese Day in Paris by Jean-François Hesse, this epicurean and food lover has taken cheese and wine to the next level!

2017: Cheese and wine in New York!

Passionate about cheese and fine wines and buoyed by the immediate success of this first event, this inveterate epicurean decided, in 2017, to export the event to New York where the festivities took place for a week in multiple partner locations across the city, thus revealing the beginnings of the current format.

2021: Paris shines its light on gastronomy

In 2021, with the launch of Paris Cheese & Wine Week, the event took on a new lease of life and made a triumphant return to the City of Lights, instantly attracting Parisian gourmets and achieving growing success year after year.

2023: the event takes on new heights to celebrate our senses

In 2023, a new milestone will be reached with the launch of a first regional edition in Savoie, bringing together more than 80 establishments in addition to the 150 partner locations mobilized throughout Paris and its region.

2024: All of France celebrates Cheese and Wine Week!

In 2024, Cheese & Wine Week expanded even further, deploying its gastronomic power around wines and cheese in some fifty cities across France. Everyone was able to find a place in their region to properly celebrate these national treasures!

2025: Cheese and Wine Week comes to Brussels, London, Italy, New York and Philadelphia!
